ABOUT THE RUN The 1960s is often called the Era of the Sixties where the most iconic band, The Beatles were adored and acclaimed worldwide and as for A. Ramlie known for the locals. It is also referred to the golden age or the elderly. This 60s Fun Run main objective is to raise fund for the selected Elderly Care Centre. The purpose of this run is also to make aware and to educate the public in understanding the feelings of isolation and loneliness among the elderly and indirectly it can create and fostering awareness and nurturing a sense of appreciation towards life of this elderly. We must treat our elders with respect, even if their bodies or minds are beginning to fail them. We also wants to be inspired and to motivate everyone to do good deeds for elderly, especially our parents and have a blast in doing it! The run is 5KM fun run. Public can have loads of fun and have the chance to get to know and listen to the 60s songs. There will be booth that display unique things showing the 60s era & lucky draw session. The starting & finishing line will be pack of sounds and music of 60s by the DJ in charge. Along comes with this run public can also improve their fitness and health, meet new people and most importantly, having a diverse community that can create a mutual understanding and long lasting friendship.
