ABOUT

Dear runners and supporters around the world,

On behalf of the Cambodian Marathon Organizer in Cambodia, we would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude for your participation in our last Angkor Wat International Half Marathon, Angkor Empire Marathon, Phnom Penh Marathon ..etc.. in Cambodia.  Due to the pandemic situation viciously spreading to many countries around the world, we therefore still try to keep our contact to all runners and supporters to activate the fitness and promote family health worldwide. By this means, we create our Angkor Wat Virtual Run 2020 – 1st Edition with slogan Run for Charity and World Health. 50 % of our Charity Fund raising will go to support the most Corona Virus infected country and $5 will go to support the Kuntha Bopha Children Hospital in Cambodia. We will show the result of Charity donation to the organizations as well as participants’ charity donation on our website after the race. 

All runners after complete  own race category, will properly receive the special  Finisher T Shirts, amazing Finisher Medals and E Bib Certificates from the homeland of  the Angkor Wat Marathon Committee.

It will be our great appreciation and our warmest thanks for your kind participation in this world event.
Once again, we sincerely pray to the Gods of Angkor Wat temple and pray to your own Gods for the blessing to protect all of you and your lovely families through all times.

Q: What is a Virtual Run?
A: Joining a virtual run means that you can run anywhere, anytime (even on a treadmill) before the deadline. Once the run is completed, you just need to send us the proof of your running activity, and the entitlements will be mailed to your address. 😉
 
Q: When and where do I run?
A: The running period is from 1st October to 1st November 2020. On the other words, you can run anywhere anytime from 1st Octobert to 1st November, and capture the proof of running and send to us at [email protected] (non-JomRun users) or submit through JomRun app (JomRun users only) before 2nd November 2020.
 
Q: What can I get after completing the virtual run?

Q: Can I change the details I filled in during registration?
A: T-shirt size cannot be changed. To change other details such as mailing address, please inform us at [email protected].

Q: Can I separate the run distance into a few shorter distance runs?
A: Yes. The runs/steps can be accumulated by multiple runs/steps, which completed within running period (1st October 2020 to 1st November 2020).
 
Q: How to do submission?
A: Within 1st October 2020 to 1st November 2020, use any apps which can track your runs, screenshot the result which shows the date and distance/steps as your proof of running to [email protected] (non-JomRun users) or submit through JomRun app (JomRun users only) before 2nd November 2020.
 
You can track your distance by using the following methods:
1. Running outdoor with GPS (track by KM)
2. Running indoor with treadmill (track by KM)
3. Steps counters (1KM = 1,500 steps)
    10KM = 15,000 steps
    21KM = 31,500 steps
    42KM = 63,000 steps
