ABOUT
In October 2019, we have launched at online campaign via Change.Org to plea for the enforcement of Animal Act 1953 in Malaysia. Our initial target was to collect 5,000 signatures only to support our plea.
Fast forward, it is January 2020 now and we have now collected more than 98,000 signatures. We foresee the number will eventually increases and snowball before the walk event in October 2020.
The event objective is to unite Malaysians to come together in unison to plea for the enforcement Animal Act 1953 in Malaysia, to symbolically represent the handover of the petition to the Government of Malaysia & relevant ministry. We will be collating photographs & video taken during the event to be shared with press media & social media.
Tentatively we will hand over the petition personally via a Government’s representative during the event day. The existing animal act enforcement in Malaysia is very weak, hence cruelty cases is currently still on the rise due to various factors. We hope to address the concern, heighten the awareness and get public to show their support through the event.
WHY COME UP WITH THE PETITION?
We see no other way to call out for improvements but through petition. And petition is the only way to represent the collective voices of supporters in a form of signatures.

1) How long is the walk? Do you provide drinking water?
- The walk distance is determined by participants, water will not be provided. Please bring your own water tumbler. Nevertheless, to ensure everyone kickstart their day the healthy way, we will be bringing fruits and health bars to be distributed to all participants on that day.
2) What will I get when I sign up?
- Each participants will be provided with the followings upon the collection of their Tshirt.

3) I can't join event, can I ask for refund or reassign my participation to somebody?
- No refund but yes you can reassign to others. You are required to email the details of the new person to us. However, tshirt size cant be exchange once it is already made.
