ABOUT
The Four Feathers Ultra Trail Marathon (FFUTM) 2019 will be held on 29 February 2020 till 1 March 2020. The Four Feathers Ultra Trail Marathon is a new race with new challenges and a new experience at the foothills of Mount Kinabalu.The event takes runners from the northern native villages at the foothills of Mount Kinabalu and around the mountain. The new route is different from past race courses and will provide for a new challenge The route will have technical jungle sections in the night as well as a combination of steep terrain and technical trail sections, and the weather, usually hot in the first part of the day and with a good chance of tropical showers in the afternoon, often add to the challenge.

All categories will start the event at Kampung Kiau Nuluh football field, in the Kota Belud District

**Please note entry into the village will be restricted due to the narrow roads and need to keep the village road clear for the start of the race at various start times. Visitors to the race start should park their cars at the designated areas recommended by village security and walk the 1 - 2 kilometers to the start line.
Only mini buses carrying runners from Kota Kinabalu will be allowed into the village area prior to the start of the race. Your kind understanding of the situation is sincerely appreciated. All roads will be open to the public after 6.00pm.

IMPORTANT!
Drop Bag/Finish Bag Option:
Runners should only bring 1 finish bag (which will act as a drop bag for the 90k runners) to the START line where you may deposit your finish bags with the logistics truck that will be on standby near the start line. All finish bags must have a FFUM Bag tag containing your bib number on it when depositing the bag. All bags should be dropped off at least 30 minutes before the start of the race please. Bags will be transported to your finish line location for you to collect after the event.

Requirement & Responsibilities:
This event requires runners to be self-sufficient from start to finish in the event without the outside assistance of third parties.
Runners are responsible for ensuring they are conditioned for the distance they plan on running and are sufficiently prepared for the distance they have selected and have sufficient experience in an ultra-marathon distance on the trail or on-road when registering for this event.
All runners registering for this event will need to agree to the terms and conditions of participation in this event and will also need to sign an indemnity form during race kit collection in order to participate in person.
