This global challenge invites runners to conquer 1,608 steps and 292 metres of vertical ascent inside Malaysia’s most iconic landmark — the Kuala Lumpur Tower. It’s the ultimate test of strength, stamina and willpower, rewarded by a breathtaking skyline view that makes every step worth it.

ELITE QUALIFICATION

Elite Qualification Criteria

The following are the tiers for elite qualification:
• Tier 1: Towerrunning World Association Ranking (Follow the latest update from TWA)
• Tier 2: 100 Floors Club Member
• Tier 3: 5k (From Jan 2026) : Men < 20:00 | Women < 23:00
• Tier 4: 10k (From Jan 2026): Men < 42:30 | Women < 48:30
• Tier 5: Half Marathon (From Jan 2026): Men < 1:30:00 | Women < 1:43:00
• Tier 6: Full Marathon (From Jan 2026): Men < 3:15:00 | Women < 4:30:00

All applications for Elite Qualification must be submitted no later than 11 September 11.59am.
Submissions received after this date will not be considered for Elite Qualification and will instead be processed under the standard category.
