Q: What is a Virtual Walk Event?
A: Joining a virtual walk event means that you can walk anywhere, anytime at the comfort & convenience of your own space within the event period. You may submit your progress either by using the JomRun App or Manual Submission via uploading a proof of your walking activity from your own tracking devices. Stand a chance to be rewarded with entitlements which will be delivered to your doorstep.
Q: How can I sign up for this Virtual Walk Event?
A: Click the ‘Sign Me Up’ button within the event page to register for this virtual event. You must be a JomRun user before you can sign up for this event.
Q: When and where can I walk?
A: The event period is from 01/09/2020 to 30/09/2020. You can walk, run or even jog anywhere anytime within this period. All you need to do is to either use the app to track your steps or capture a proof of your walking activity. Submit it through the JomRun app (JomRun users only) before 30/09/2020.
Q: What can I get after completing the Virtual Walk event?
A: Stand a chance to be rewarded with the entitlements below:
• Achievement of 150,000 – 299,999 Steps*:
1x NESTLÉ Omega Plus Finisher Jersey
• Achievement of 300,000 Steps & above*:
1x NESTLÉ Omega Plus Finisher Jersey

• Weekly Prizes x3:

*Results based on achievement of total cumulative steps within the period of 1 – 30 September 2020.
Q: When can I receive my Entitlement Items?
A: The entitlement items will be sent out within the period of 1 – 31st October 2020 after the Event has ended. Please expect to receive the item within the mentioned period.
Q: How do I track my step count progress for this Virtual Walk Event?
A: You can track your steps/distance using the following methods:
1) Using the JomRun app itself.
2) Manual submission of my steps progress via any fitness tracking device/step counters.
(1 Miles = 1.6KM = 2,400 steps)
Q: For manual submission, do I have to submit my walk/run progress daily?
A: No, you may submit it anytime within the event period as long as the information required is clearly indicated in your screenshot. Multiple screenshots may be required for your submission. Please view the instructions above to ensure you have all the necessary information in your screenshot upload for it to be qualified/validated.
Q: What will be collected as donation & where will the proceeds of the donation be channeled to?
A: The RM5 participation fee (not inclusive of the RM1 payment gateway fee) will be channeled to support heart patients in need. The total donation of RM100,000 once we have achieved our goal of 1 MILLION MILES together will be donated to Yayasan Jantung Malaysia (YJM) and IJN Foundation respectively.
