"In 2000, 8 triathletes attempted a challenge and a bet amongst friends to see who could run/walk/crawl from Tawau on the East Coast of Sabah to Kimanis, on the West Coast in Sabah in the fastest time possible. 8 people started.
2 finished in 8 days on logging roads in the middle of the monsoon rains over 400 kilometres.
20 years later, we attempt to beat this 8 day, 20 year record in 6 days. Are you up to the challenge?"
Additional add on costs to final total (Mandatory):
1. RM60 per person insurance coverage for event
2. RM60 per person timing system for event
***400k runners must be self-supported and have their own support crew for the event from start to finish who will provide food/drink/sleeping arrangements en-route. Runner will be scanned at selected check points along the race course route to verify his/her timing for the event and will be monitored by the organizers and will have access to Medical team support.
***145k runners will be supported by the organizers during the event from start to finish at selected check points along the route/water stations/timing chip scanning check points/access to medical team and support.
