The first-ever Vientiane International Marathon (VIM2019) is coming this 8th December 2019!
Join us and let’s make history together!
The challenging 42KM, 21 KM, 10 KM, and 5 KM courses will take you through the quiet city of Vientiane, Laos. The courses weave through cultural and historic streets, landmarks, and provides runners a unique experiences. The event starts and finishes at the well known landmark, Pa That Luang Grounds.
Events for Good is excited and happy to continue the tradition of bringing thousands of novice, avid and professional runners to race in the quiet city of Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR every year.
RACE PACK COLLECTION
Date: 6th - 7th December 2019
Time: 10AM-6PM
Venue: That Luang Grounds, Vientiane
Note:
All participants must collect their race entry pack which includes the race bib, timing chip, Event T-shirt, the pre-race registration at the Entry Pack Collection Location during the collection period.
If participants are unable to collect their Race Entry Pack in person, they may empower a duly authorized representative in accordance with the procedure detailed here at the Official Website.
Late collection will not be entertained and EFG shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused, due to participants’ inability to collect their Race Entry Pack. Race Entry Pack not collected after the collection date will be deemed as properly of (EFG) the organizer, who reserves the rights to dispose or distribute them accordingly.

ENTITLEMENT

**Singlet size availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Change of singlet size will not be accommodated and no replacements will be given for lost singlets.
2. Singlets
– Color and design is by race category. Sizes are available but subject to availability.
3. Bib
– The bib colour indicates the race category that you are in.
– Please run in the race category to which you are registered.
– If you do not run in your registered race category, your timing will not be considered/counted. You will be deemed disqualified.
– Enter your personal details on the reverse side of the bib (e.g. Name, Emergency contact number, blood type) with a ballpoint pen or permanent marker. This is essential in the event of an emergency.
– Display your bib number clearly in front of your singlet at all times during the race. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
4. Timing Chip
– Each competitor taking part in the event must wear the Official Race Chip. Failure to do so will mean no official place or time will be published for you.

1) 42K Full Marathon
Date : December 8 (Sunday) at That Luang Grounds
Start time: 3:00 AM
Cutoff time for full marathon is 6 hours and 30 minutes
*All runners must be present at the start and finish location 30 minutes prior to their starting time.
2) 21K Half Marathon
December 8 (Sunday) at That Luang Grounds
Start time: 5:00 AM
Cutoff time for half marathon is 3 hours and 30 minutes
*All runners must be present at the start and finish location 30 minutes prior to their starting time.
3) 10K Mini Run
December 8 (Sunday) at That Luang Grounds
Start time: 5:30 AM
Cutoff time for 10K is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
*All runners must be present at the start and finish location 30 minutes prior to their starting time.
4)5K Fun Run / Walk
December 8 (Sunday) at That Luang Grounds
Start time: 6:00 AM
Cutoff time for 5K is 1 hour.
