1. Who can sign up for the World Vision Global 6K for Water?
The World Vision Global 6K for Water is open to Malaysians, Malaysia PR holders as well as foreigners with a valid working permit. It is suitable for all ages but anyone under the age of 18 must seek parental or guardian consent before they register. Participants under 15 years of age must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
1. 谁可以参加世界宣明会的Global 6K for Water路跑活动？
世界宣明会Global 6K for Water路跑活动公开给所有马来西亚国民、马来西亚居留证持有者及拥有工作准证的外国人士参加。这项活动适合所有年龄层的人士参与。然而，18岁以下参与者在报名之前，必须获得父母或监护人的同意；15岁以下的参与者则另须家长或监护人的全程陪同下参与。
2. How much is it to sign up?
For the 3.5KM category, registration is RM39.99 for Super Early Bird, RM49.99 for Early Bird, and RM59.99 for Normal. For the 7KM category, registration is RM49.99 for Super Early Bird, RM59.99 for Early Bird, and RM69.99 for Normal. Participants will get an Ultron run jersey, finisher medal, run bib, e-certificate, personal accident insurance and light refreshments.
2. 报名费是多少？
3.5公里路线的报名费为：超级早鸟RM39.99，早鸟RM49.99，正常RM59.99；7KM路线的报名费为：超级早鸟RM49.99，早鸟RM59.99，正常RM69.99。所有参与者将可以获得一件跑步衣、完赛奖牌、号码布、电子证书和茶点。另外，参与者也受个人意外险保障。
3. What is the deadline for registration?
The deadline for registration will be 16 May 2025. However, World Vision reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice or when the quota for the Run is met.
3. 什么时候是报名截止日期？
报名截止日期为2025年5月16日。然而，世界宣明会有权在报名截止日期之前或参加人数已额满时停止接受报名，恕不另行通知。
4. I would like to register more than 1 (one) runner. Do I have to register each person individually?
Yes, each participant needs to register individually. You must complete the registration for one participant through the JomRun app or website before proceeding with the registration for the next.
4. 我们有超过1位跑手想同时报名。我需要各别为每个人报名吗？
是的，每位参与者需要单独报名。你需要在JomRun应用程序或官网完成前一位参与者的报名后，才能为下一位参与者进行报名。
5. I have just signed up online and made my donation. What happens next?
Once your donation is completed, you will receive a confirmation email containing your e-ticket. If you registered via the JomRun app, you can also find your e-ticket under Me > E-tickets in the app. When collecting your Runner’s Kit, please present your e-ticket along with a valid identity document (Identity Card or passport).
5. 我刚完成了网上报名及捐款程序。接下来会怎样？
当你完成捐款后，你将收到一封包含你电子票的确认电邮。如果是用JomRun应用程序报名的话，你也可以在应用程序里的Me (我) >E-tickets (电子票) 找到你的电子票。 领取跑手包时，你需要出示你的电子票及有效的身份证明文件（身份证或护照）。
6. I have signed up but will no longer be able to participate. Can I get a refund/transfer the application to a friend?
Unfortunately, once the registration form has been duly processed, it is NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-DEFERRABLE. Completion and submission of the registration form and donation represent the participant’s agreement to abide by the terms and conditions of the World Vision Global 6K for Water.
6. 我已经报名但我无法出席当天的活动。我能否获得退款或将参与资格转让给朋友？
非常抱歉。报名一旦受理，即不可转让资格、不可退还报名费及不可延缓。填妥并提呈报名表格及报名费，意即参与者同意遵守世界宣明会Global 6K for Water路跑的条件与细则。
7. Why do you use the JomRun platform for registration?
JomRun is a one-stop solutions provider for various running and sports events, helping to streamline the registration process. In addition, you can easily view your e-ticket and e-certificate, and track your registration progress in real-time.
7. 为什么我们使用JomRun平台作为报名方法？
JomRun平台是各类路跑和体育活动的一站式解决方案供应商，有助于报名过程更加顺畅。此外，你还可以方便地查看你的电子票和电子证书，实时追踪报名进度。
8. Can I have the Runner’s Kit mailed to me?
You must come and pick up your Runner’s Kit in person at:

Time: 11am to 6pm
If you are unable to collect your Runner’s Kit, kindly contact us at [email protected] (with the subject line "Runner's Kit Collection Global 6K for Water") to make alternative arrangements. All Runner’s Kits without special arrangement and not collected during the stipulated collection dates will be deemed as unwanted.
8. 可否将跑手包邮寄给我呢？
你必须亲自前来以下的地点领取跑手包：

日期：2025年5月17日
时间：11am - 6pm
若你无法前来领取跑手包，敬请电邮至[email protected] (邮件标题请注明 "Runner's Kit Collection_Global 6K For Water")以进行适当的安排。在指定日期期间未与主办单位协调安排或未有前来领取跑手包，则将视同放弃跑手包。
9. I cannot travel to Kepong Metropolitan Park to run in-person. Can I run elsewhere?
Yes, you can still run anywhere, anytime to advocate for the global water issues! However, you must participate in the Run at the Kepong Metropolitan Park on the actual day to be eligible for the finisher medal. You must still collect your Runner’s Kit at the designated date and time.
9. 我无法前来Kepong Metropolitan Park，我可以在其他地方跑吗？
是的，你可以在任何时间、任何地点跑步，倡导全球水源问题！但是，你必须在活动当天前往Kepong Metropolitan Park参加路跑活动，才能获得完赛奖牌。你仍然必须在指定的日期和时间领取你的跑手包。
10. Where do the donations go?
The donation will go to our Advocacy Fund, enabling World Vision to work with local partners to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene in vulnerable communities. This includes forming water management committees, providing sanitation training, and conducting awareness campaigns on safe water practices. The funds will also provide hygiene kits, install water purifiers in schools, and organise cleaning campaigns and improve waste management. Additionally, World Vision will improve water access by upgrading wells and introducing sustainable water management practices, ensuring long-term solutions to clean water and sanitation issues while helping communities become more resilient. This will provide longer-term support for communities.
10. 基金的用途？
这笔捐款将用于我们的醒觉倡导基金，让世界宣明会能够与本地合作伙伴一起改善脆弱社区的干净水源与卫生设备，其中包括成立水资源管理委员会、提供卫生培训，以及举办安全水源醒觉倡导活动。有关基金也将用于提供卫生用品、在学校安装净水设备、支持举办清洁运动及改善废物管理系统。此外，世界宣明会将改善水源供应透过提升水井的素质和引入可永续经营的水资源管理措施，以助改善水源供应系统；进而确保为干净水源和卫生议题提供长期性的解决方案。与此同时，我们也将协助社区提升强韧性，为社区提供更长期的援助。
