ABOUT
Yoma Yangon International Marathon (“YYIM”) has established itself as Myanmar’s largest participatory running event and one of the most recognised annual sporting occasions bringing together runners, supporters, volunteers, corporates and the community.
Now in its 8th edition, YYIM aims to continue inspiring athletes and connect communities, both local and international through a love of running.
There are four race categories: Full Marathon 42.195km, Half Marathon 21km, 10.5km Challenge and 3km Fun Run/Walk.
The start and finish point of the various races is Thuwunnabhumi Event Park with the race routes taking runners past iconic sites in Yangon.
Noted that :
1. Participants must enter their Team Name at the point of registration to be eligible for the Team Prizes.
2. The top 5 timing from each team, regardless of gender, will be taken for 21KM & 10KM Team of 5.
3. Winning team of the Team Prizes will be announced on the event day during the Prize Presentation ceremony.
4. Complimentary slots and all Yoma affiliated team are not eligible for the Team Prizes.
5. Runners under the age of 18 years old (as of 1 January 2020) are required to submit the indemnity form signed by a parent/guardian during the Race Pack Collection.
RACE PACK COLLECTION

Late Race Entry Pack Collection is available for overseas participants on race day.

Time : 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Venue : Thuwanna Bhumi Event Park
All participants must collect their Race Entry Pack during the collection period. If participants are unable to collect their Race Entry Pack in person, they may authorize a representative in accordance with the following procedure :
1) Signed copy of the authorization letter
2) Copy of the participant’s race confirmation
3) Copy of the participant’s photo ID
4) Runners under the age of 18 years old (as of 1 January 2020) are required to submit the indemnity form signed by a parent/guardian during the Race Pack Collection.

All foreign visitors need a visa to enter Myanmar. Foreign visitors are encouraged to get in touch with their local Myanmar Embassy/Consulate for the most current visa regulations

4) Race Timings
Race Timings will be recorded using the Timing Chip, an electronic chip that is attached to the back of the Race Bib (Available for 10km and Half and Full marathon runners only). Race Timings will not be recorded for the YOMA 3KM Fun Run participants as it is not a timed race category.
